“Istanbul detail in the ‘Antalya’ operation in the judiciary: What are the appointed prosecutors indicative of?” journalist Furkan Karabay was charged with “insult” and “slander” upon the complaint of President Erdoğan’s lawyers Ahmet Özel and Mustafa Doğan İnal. The court acquitted Karabay on the charge of “insult” and sentenced him to 1 year and 15 days of imprisonment on the charge of slander; the sentence was postponed.
