Mustafa Özmen, the former mayor of Gelendost, was tried at Yalvaç High Criminal Court on charges of bribery, embezzlement, extortion and bid rigging and sentenced to 23 years, 11 months and 15 days in prison. Özmen was detained and arrested in March 2024 as part of the investigation. The verdicts of deferral of the announcement of the verdict, no sentence or acquittal were issued for 19 defendants in the same case.
