A lawsuit was filed against journalist Melda Onur, who reacted against the statement of TOBB Chairman Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu on March 8th, who said, “Our women are more valuable treasures than oil and natural gas.” Onur is on trial at Ankara 24th Criminal Court of First Instance due to “insult.” The second hearing of the lawsuit will be held on January 20, 2020.
