The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office requested a financial audit on June 1 as part of an investigation into the CHP’s 38th Ordinary Congress. The prosecutor’s office requested an examination of the bank transactions of congress delegates and their first-degree relatives, as well as MASAK reports and Social Security Institution (SGK) records. Speaking on the same day, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu stated that he would share details regarding the allegations related to the congress with the public, while Özgür Özel also responded to the debates surrounding the congress.
