S.D. and his father M.D. were detained in Hatay’s Samandağ district for allegedly spreading false information on their social media accounts that “5 people with Kalashnikov rifles were seen in different neighborhoods”. Gendarmerie teams determined that the claim was not true. According to the statement made by Samandağ District Governorate, judicial proceedings were initiated against father and son.
