Agnostic writer and YouTuber Diamant Tema’s Instagram account “Diamond Tema” was blocked.
No official statement was made regarding the reason for the block. However, an investigation was opened against Tema by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office on charges of “inciting the public to hatred and hostility” due to his statements in a YouTube program on June 14, 2024.
Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç announced that an arrest warrant was issued for Tema after the process. Diamant Tema left Turkey after the program and continues her life in Albania, where she was born.
