The detention period of ANKA Editor-in-Chief Kenan Şener and Koza TV journalists Sergen Ölçer and Mehlika Bilen, who were detained for broadcasting live from the vicinity of Incirlik Air Base, was extended by one day on March 1, 2026. Adana Metropolitan Municipality employee Güral Bıçakçı is also being held in custody as part of the investigation. The journalists were asked by the police who requested the broadcast and on behalf of which institution it was made.
