A lawsuit was filed against lawyer Efkan Bolaç due to his social media post to celebrate May 19 three years ago, depicting photos of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and Mahir Çayan. The Prosecutor conducting the investigation ordered for Bolaç’s phone to be seized and examined and to disclose other posts that could be subject to different charges. Lawyer Bolaç expressed that this order “attempts to move from the suspect to evidence,” in contrast to the rules of criminal law.
