In the retrial of sociologist-writer Pınar Selek, who was acquitted four times in the case related to the Egyptian Bazaar explosion, the court rejected Selek’s request to testify from abroad. The 27-year-long trial was adjourned until April 2, 2026, while the arrest warrant continued. Academics, lawyers and international delegations from France watched the hearing.
