The claim for former Free Women’s Movement (TJA) Spokesperson Ayşe Gökkan to make her defense statement in Kurdish was denied by the court. Gökkan is arrested in remand due to managing an illegal organisation as well as illegal organisation membership. Protesting the court decree, Gökkan did not make her defense. Diyarbakır 9th Assize Court scheduled the next hearing for June 23.
