The Constitutional Court (AYM) stated that it is a violation of freedom of expression and press freedom to ban access to the news article published in 2014 in Cumhuriyet Daily with the headline, “Bilal scolds education: Mixed-gender education not ok.” 6000 TL of moral compensation will be paid to the newspaper’s former online managing editor Aykut Küçükkaya.
