The Constitutional Court decided to file criminal complaints with the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office against 26 political parties following financial audits. Decisions published in the Official Gazette examined the parties’ final accounts for 2022, 2023 and 2024. The court said 26 parties, including Türkiye Yüzüncü Yıl Partisi, Kürdistan Komünist Partisi, İşçinin Kendi Partisi, Anahtar Parti, Türkiye Emekliler ve Emekçiler Partisi, Hak ve Adalet Partisi, Adalet ve Demokrasi Partisi and Türkiye Emekliler Partisi, had failed to keep records and documents in an accountable manner. The court found their final accounts for the relevant periods unacceptable under Political Parties Law No. 2820 and filed criminal complaints on the grounds of violations of the law.
