A 50-thousand-TL lawsuit of compensation was filed by Justice and Development Party (AKP) Rize Provincial Assembly Chairman İbrahim Türüt and his wife, Ennur Türüt, against Rize Nabız Daily’s managing editor Gençağa Karafazlı due to sharing the information that he was prosecuted within the “FETÖ investigation.” The information that took place in the newspaper was not denied by Türüt as well. Türüt claims that the publication of the news violate his personal rights, even though he was acquitted in the lawsuit that was based on a confessor statement.
