As part of the CHP’s “Standing Up for the Will of the People” rallies, Ramazan Yıldız, Chairman of the Adalar Youth Branch, was detained ahead of the rally scheduled for 7:30 PM on February 11 in Büyükada. CHP Deputy Chairman Burhanettin Bulut stated that Yıldız was detained based on a social media comment. Bulut stated that the detention, which took place just hours before the rally, was unacceptable.
