In the trial of Bilal Gökalp, who attacked the signature stand set up by the CHP in Trabzon in support of Ekrem İmamoğlu and injured two people with a knife, the court ruled that the crime could be “attempted intentional murder” and decided to dismiss the case. The case was sent to the heavy penal court and the defendant will remain under arrest. Gökalp claimed in his defense that he was beaten and defended himself.
