The Coalition for Women in Journalism (CFWIJ) reacted against the news targeting Shalom Daily writer Karel Valansi after Israel’s attacks against Palestinians. The statement reminded that similar news was reported against the journalist before, making her a target for anti-Semitist hate speech in the pro-government media. “No one’s religion, language and race can be made subject to attacks,” the coalition stated.
