A report has been published alleging that Devrim Ayık, who is being held at Antalya S-Type Prison, was subjected to torture and ill-treatment during his transfer to the hospital. The Human Rights Association (İHD) and the Lawyers’ Association for Human Rights (ÖHD) demanded an independent and effective investigation into the incident. The report noted that access to medical care was denied and that there were allegations of physical assault. The organizations called for action to be taken against those responsible.
