On April 20, students at Ankara University’s Cebeci Campus staged a protest against the leasing of the gym to a private club. The students claimed that the gym had become unusable due to privatization and that public spaces were being handed over to capital. Following the protest, fascist groups attacked the students, and private security did not intervene.
