Koma Rosîda’s solist Jiyan was arrested due to ‘making illegal organization propaganda’ by saying “Kurdistan” as part of the song lyrics she was singing while performing at the People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Ağrı Provincial Organization rally in Patnos.
The host of the rally Ali Ümran Daşkaya was taken into custody as well due to using the expression, “Democracy martyrs” in his speech. Daşkaya was later released with judicial control.
