Z.B., the daughter-in-law of Muhittin Böcek, who was suspended and arrested as Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, was detained on her return from Germany on allegations of “laundering assets arising from crime”. Böcek and his former daughter-in-law Z.K. were previously detained in the investigation conducted by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, and Böcek was arrested. Municipality executives Serkan Temuçin and Tuncay Kaya were also arrested as part of the investigation.
