A lawsuit was filed against Ömer Çelik, one of the 16 journalists arrested in Diyarbakır in June 2022, on the grounds of news reports on his arrest.Çelik was charged with “membership in an illegal organisation” and his file was merged with the case against 22 people, including 20 journalists, at Diyarbakır 4th Assize Court.
