The application made by educator Engin Karataş, who was previously dismissed from profession with an Emergency Decree, was denied due to his participation in the protests “I want my job back.” The committee decided that Karataş “had connections to an illegal organisation” based on the investigation and lawsuits filed against the protests he participated in after his dismissal.
