Penalties issued against six workers, who started a protest in front of Oyak Renault Factory in 2016 to support their fired friends, were reversed by the 2nd Criminal Chamber of Bursa Regional Court. The court of appeals stated, ‘Protest and demonstration are a prerequisite for freedom of expression and thought.’
