3rd Criminal Chamber of Istanbul Regional Court reversed the acquittal decrees issued in the Gezi Park Case, which was filed against 16 people due to “attempting to overthrow the government of the Republic of Turkey.” In the summary judgement held on February 18, 2020 at Istanbul 30th Assize Court, acquittal decrees were issued for 9 rights advocates, including Osman Kavala, and the files of 7 people, including journalist Can Dündar, were separated.
