Amedspor was fined by the Turkish Football Federation for a “hair braiding” video shared on the club’s social media accounts. The Professional Football Disciplinary Committee deemed the video to be “ideological propaganda” and decided to impose a fine of 802,000 TL on the club. Club President Nahit Eren was also given a 15-day suspension. The decision was met with public backlash.
