Co-mayors Sakine Kutpınar and Ecevit Ceylancı of Özalp Municipality, along with municipal council members, announced that they were subjected to verbal abuse by a healthcare worker during their visit to Özalp State Hospital on January 15. In a statement made in front of the hospital, they said that the behavior of the employee, named R.K., was unacceptable and called for an administrative investigation into the incident. The co-mayors emphasized that this was an individual act and demanded disciplinary action against those responsible in accordance with the law.
