Adana Governorate banned the “Kebab and Turnip Juice” planned to be made on December 8 and 9 due to “public order and protection of the safety of life and property of persons.” The festival was organized in Adana on the second Saturday of each December since 2010 within the “Rakı Day” celebrated since 2006. Due to Adana Governorate’s ban on the festival in 2015 due to the “Alcoholic commercial ban,” the festival’s name was changed to “Kebab and Turnip Juice Festival.”
