Actress Berna Laçin, who was previously targeted for her oppositional posts, announced that she was summoned to testify because she said “cherries are expensive” on social media.
In her post, Laçin also referred to a poem by Orhan Veli and wrote, “They summoned me to testify again because I said cherries are expensive; what’s it to you if I didn’t buy cherries? It’s not someone who is known, that my statement would cause a lack of pocket money. In short, what did Orhan Veli say, ‘We live, free; The air is free, the cloud is free; freedom for the price of the head, slavery is free.”
