The lawsuit filed against 9 young people, who were detained for protesting the ban against protests and demonstrations declared by the Rize Governorate to prevent the protests of the villagers resisting against the stone quarry in İkizdere, in Istanbul, with the allegation of “violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911”, resulted in acquittal.
