Istanbul 1st Criminal Judgeship of Peace blocked access to T24’s website and social media accounts as part of the “My Family Is Safe” investigation. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office described 118 reports published by T24 over the past year as “LGBT propaganda” and based the decision on those publications. The decision was sent to the Cyber Security Presidency for implementation. T24’s management and journalism professional organizations criticized the decision.
