The President of the Information and Communications Technology Authority imposed an access ban on the live streaming platforms Bigo, MICO, SUGO, Poppo, MIGO, SoulChill, LiveMe, Cheero, and LopMe on February 14, 2026. BTK made the decision through administrative proceedings. Previously, on October 14, 2024, the Ankara 4th Criminal Court of Peace had blocked access to Bigo Live; in August 2025, access to many video chat and dating platforms was also blocked.
