The Education and Science Workers’ Union (Eğitim-İş) X account @egitimis was blocked on January 8 by order of the Ankara 7th Criminal Court of Peace. The decision was made on the grounds of protecting national security and public order. The Freedom of Expression Association announced that the account had been made invisible in Turkey by the X platform.
