Access to the X account @alitarakcii of journalist, writer and television presenter Ali Tarakçı was blocked. Ankara 7th Criminal Judgeship of Peace issued the decision on 26 September as part of an investigation by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office into “publicly disseminating misleading information.” The decision cited “protecting national security and public order” and “preventing the commission of crimes.” X made the account unavailable in Türkiye.
