Istanbul 1st Criminal Judgeship of Peace ordered access blocked to 246 social media accounts and links on the grounds that they had made speculative posts about capital markets that could cause fear and panic among investors. The Cybercrime Investigation Bureau of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office opened the investigation ex officio. The decision was sent to the Cyber Security Presidency for implementation.
