The Izmir 6th Criminal Court of Peace imposed an access ban against the news, which alleged that Izmir Karaburun District Governor Serap Özmen Çetin allowed the “agricultural area” land she purchased to be opened for construction, on the grounds of ‘violation of personal rights’. Among the 154 news articles banned from access, there are the news on the Izmir Governorate making a statement on the subject as well as the website of Republican People’s Party (CHP) Izmir MP Murat Bakan.
