Istanbul 1st Criminal Judgeship of Peace also blocked access to the new username of T24’s X account with 1.9 million followers, which it had blocked in its decision dated 29 September 2026 and numbered 2026/8894. Following the first decision, X did not make the @t24comtr account unavailable in Türkiye. T24 changed the account’s username to @t24comtr_. However, the new username was also blocked on the grounds of preventing the commission of crimes and protecting public order.
