People’s Democratic Party (HDP) reported the attacks and restrictions against their party daily since 18 April 2018, the day elections were announced.
According to the report, at least 208 HDP members were taken into custody since the announcement of the elections; at least 16 of those taken into custody were arrested by the courts they were taken to. At least 57 attacks and prohibition attempts were made against party members conducting election campaign work in various regions of Turkey. The report further included attacks and prohibitions experienced by Felicity Party and Republican People’s Party (CHP) members as well by members of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP).
