As protests organized by Boğaziçi University students and academics against appointed rector Melih Bulu continue across the country, the Interior Ministry announced numbers on the protests. According to the announcement, 528 people were detained in 38 provinces. 2 students were arrested so far and a total of 498 people were released, 108 of whom with judicial measures. The Ministry ended the statement with a threat: “Let no one question the power of the state…”
