Detention warrants were issued for 31 people in investigations against Istanbul and Antalya metropolitan municipalities. While 30 people were detained, one suspect is wanted in Istanbul. In the case against Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), detention warrants were issued for 14 municipality personnel, company representatives and employees. Gendarmerie teams detained 13 people. The investigation is being conducted on charges of “leadership and membership of a criminal organization”, “extortion”, “bribery”, “qualified fraud”, “unlawful acquisition of personal data” and “bid rigging”.
