Journalist Aziz Oruç was sentenced to 2 years and one month of imprisonment due to 12 social media posts he made in the year 2016, including those with the news he published himself. Diyarbakır 9th Assize Court did not defer the announcement of the sentence against the journalist, who is convicted of “making illegal organisation propaganda.” Oruç is arrested in Ağrı within another file against him.
