The Ministry of the Interior made a written declaration and that 19 of the 93 social media users identified to have posted on social media about the Coronavirus were detained. The social media users’ posts were on the Coronavirus being an epidemic in Turkey, no necessary/sufficient measures are taken by related Turkish authorities and that the matter is being kept from Turkish people. The Ministry described the related posts as “baseless and provocative.”
