The Denizli Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office arrested 12 of the 13 individuals taken into custody as part of its investigation into bribery and bid-rigging at the Merkezefendi Municipality on May 19. Among those arrested was Deputy Mayor Emrah Karan. The court released one person on probation.
