On the other hand, 1,032 citizens who issued a statement for Aysel Tuğluk, Osman Kavala, Sezen Aksu and Sedef Kabaş, stated, “The country’s administration is rapidly moving away from democratic principles… Apart from the prison conditions symbolized by Aysel Tuğluk, threats against citizens, interference with the judiciary, unlawful detentions and arrests, as well as the events regarding Osman Kavala, Sezen Aksu and Sedef Kabaş became the last straw.”
