Former Editor-In-Chief of Yeni Yaşam Daily Osman Akın was sentenced to 1 year and three months of imprisonment in the lawsuit he was on trial due to the news published in the newspaper. Istanbul 28th Assize Court deferred the announcement of the verdict issued against the journalist due to “making illegal organisation propaganda.”
