In order to support the academics, against whom investigations were started because of signing the notice, titled, We Will Not Take Part In This Crime, written by the Academics for Peace Initiative; a group of intellectuals including Ceyda Karan, Ferhat Tunç, Şanar Yurdatapan performed a civil disobedience protest.
After making a press statement in front of Istanbul Çağlayan Courthouse, the intellectuals announced that they also signed the notice of the academics; making criminal complaints against themselves at the Prosecutors Office.
The same protest was made simultaneously in Ankara and Izmir as well.
