Justice Minister Akın Gürlek filed a criminal complaint and a lawsuit for non-pecuniary damages against TİP MP Ahmet Şık over allegations Şık made about him and his wife, Elif Gülşah Gürlek. Gürlek’s lawyer argued that the couple lived in housing allocated by the Ministry of Justice and that claims that another residence had been rented were untrue. Şık had asked Gürlek six questions about the rent of a residence in Süzer Plaza, renovation expenses and certain expenditures.
