The number of people detained in the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office investigation into the Ahbap Association rose to 20. After detaining Haluk Levent, police detained several people, including association co-founder Alper Çelik and lawyer Ece Güner, searched the association’s headquarters and seized documents. Prosecutors alleged that earthquake donations were used outside their intended purpose, large sums were transferred to certain accounts and bets were placed.
