Police carried out simultaneous operations in five provinces as part of an investigation into Manisa Metropolitan Municipality on allegations of “bribery” and “forming an organization to commit crimes.” Twelve people were detained, including Demirhan Gözaçan, an adviser to Metropolitan Mayor Besim Dutlulu. Eight of the detainees were apprehended in Manisa, and police procedures continued.
