Cihan Tutal, Naim Ayhan, and Ali Sarıyıldız, who had previously been released on judicial supervision as part of the “extortion by coercion” investigation targeting the Bolu Municipality, were re-arrested on April 6, 2026, following an objection by the prosecutor. The three individuals, who were transported to the courthouse by the gendarmerie, were detained by the on-duty judge and sent to prison.
