In operations carried out in 18 provinces under the pretext of Newroz celebrations, 209 people were detained and 32 were arrested. In Izmir, two women and two children were arrested. Meral Danış Beştaş of the DEM Party revealed that among those arrested was Mizgin Duyas, who has a disability rating of 45% and a one-year-old baby.
